Remake of Frogger - with bunnies!
If you can remember Frogger, slick 3D arcade game Banzai Rabbit will be instantly recognizable. Hop your floppy-eared hero across a dangerous road to save people before they are turned into fly monsters.
Fly monsters? It's a long story, but a humorously silly one that adds to the classic gameplay to make an addictive title. The first thing that impresses with Banzai Rabbit are the graphics. Both the cut scenes and the in-game action look fantastic, with surprising detail for the iPhone's little screen. The sound is good, although the music might get annoying after a while.
Another neat feature in Banzai Rabbit are the configurable controls. The three different methods on offer are really different, and will mean there's a style that will suit everyone.
There's a lot of game here, too with a 142 levels, that do get tricky. While it's not revolutionary, Banzai Rabbit is yet another example of aging gameplay that's been given a new lease of life on the iPhone, much like Space Miner. It's amazing what a storyline and some power ups can do!
Banzai Rabbit is great to play for a few minutes or extended plays due to it's great story mode, and is a great looking arcade addition to your iPhone library.
